    delicious pastries
    ineffective hairdryer
    broken television

The breakfast offered a nice selection of pastries.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by unaddressed issues. The television was old and didn't work, despite reporting it twice. Additionally, there was no mirror outside the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Lastly, the hairdryer provided was slow and ineffective, leaving me quite dissatisfied.

    delicious breakfast
    unique vibe
    easy exploration
    kids' play area

We truly enjoyed our stay here, especially how easy it was to explore Bruges with the kids. The breakfast was delicious with great pastries, and we loved the unique vibe of the place. We even played a round of golf nearby!

For dads, it would be great to have a kids' play area.

fantastic location but room could use updates

The location of the hotel is truly fantastic, making it easy to explore the beautiful area on foot. The on-site parking was extremely convenient, allowing for a stress-free arrival. The friendly staff made all the difference, ensuring my stay was enjoyable. The room had a lovely view of the river, which added to the charm of my visit.

    great location
    delicious breakfast
    staff confusion
    absence of kettle
    lack of clear directions

The location offered easy access to local sights and delightful cafes, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast was a real highlight, featuring a lovely selection of fresh items, including cheeses and pastries. Unfortunately, the lack of clear directions from the staff led to unnecessary frustration when locating my room. The absence of basic amenities, like a kettle for hot drinks in the room, further limited convenience.

    helpful staff
    comfortable room
    good breakfast
    plumbing noise
    noisy room

Our stay at Hotel Monsieur Ernest was delightful! The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with great local restaurant suggestions. The rooms were comfortable with a king-sized bed, and the breakfast offered a nice selection of bread, meats, and juices to start our day right. The hotel's location made it easy to explore Bruges on foot.

The room was sometimes noisy due to plumbing sounds from nearby rooms.

    friendly staff

It was just a decent option for a short interlude in Bruges with outstanding value for money. The staff were incredibly warm and made us feel welcome upon arrival, which set a positive tone for our stay. Make sure to check parking options ahead of time, as it's limited and needs to be booked in advance.

Just stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast was pretty basic, but the room size was impressive, especially with a stunning view over the canal. I'd definitely choose this place again!
